IconViewer is a shell extension, a plugin for Windows Explorer. When you open the Properties box for a file containing icons, an extra Icons tab will appear. Clicking on this tab brings up the IconViewer property page, and it lists the icons that the file contains.

ShellMenuView is a small utility that display the list of static menu items that appeared in the context menu when you right-click a file/folder on Windows Explorer, and allows you to easily disable unwanted menu items. Shell Extensions are in-process COM objects which extends the abilities of Windows operating system. Most shell extensions are automatically installed by the operating system, but there are also many other applications that install additional shell extension components. For example: If you install WinZip on your computer, you'll see a special WinZip menu when you right-click on a Zip file. This menu is created by adding a shell extension to the system. The ShellExView utility displays the details of shell extensions installed on your computer, and allows you to easily disable and enable each shell extension.
AutoHideMouseCursor is a small portable Windows application that allows you to hide the mouse cursor, if this does not move. Automatically hide the mouse cursor with an adjustable timer, it is the right desktop tool when the cursor is too annoying to them, such as when working with word processing programs because often when you enter the text cursor is in the way and obscures the text. Thus one has a clear view on the text, or other programs, you can try this freeware tool though, as no installation is required, you can also delete it if not satisfied very quickly, without leaving traces on the computer.
AlwaysMouseWheel is a handy utility designed to enable you to scroll via mouse wheel over inactive windows. It allows you to scroll even if the window is not in the foreground i.e. focused. The program allows optionally bringing the wheel window to the foreground. So you save a couple of clicks, or switching between windows.

CoolShell is a little program for Windows that adds several features to the explorer shell.
- Wheel acts on the window under the mouse cursor, not the one that has the focus
- Windows can be dragged with the middle button hold down
- Windows can be resized with the middle button double click (hold down)
- Right click on a minimize button sends the window to the notification area
- Right click on a maximize button rolls the window
- Right click on a close button toggles the window Always On Top
- Middle click on a minimize button sets the window transparency to 20%

FreeSnap allows you to instantly resize any window edge to the corresponding screen edge. Want that window to touch the right edge of the screen? KillKeys disables specified keys, preventing programs from picking them up. They then effectively become dead keys that does nothing while KillKeys is enabled. The default behavior is to disable both windows keys and the menu key when in fullscreen windows to prevent accidentally pressing them when playing games. You can configure KillKeys to block any key you wish.
Use WindowsWhere with Windows 7 to make sure that explorer windows stay where you left them. See, Windows 7 (and Vista as well, apparently) like to forget where you left your explorer windows, so that new explorer windows end up wherever the last window was, instead of where that particular window was last.
