| A powerful and flexible digital countdown timer designed for total customization. This application supports many visual settings such as always-on-top, full-screen mode, minimize mode, different border styles and color customizations. Behind the scene settings include suppression of screensaver during countdown to prevent interruption, update checking, ability to pause countdown and lots more. The Countdown Timer also supports command line parameters to create a timer from a command prompt, as well as an advanced timer creation window and an easy-to-learn wizard mode. You can easily switch between the Advanced mode and the Wizard mode. Other features include full online help documentation. (You may also choose to download and install local help on your computer. This way you won't have to have an Internet connection to access help.) The countdown timer can survive reboots / shutdowns (a countdown timer will automatically resume next time a user starts their session if it was running at the time the shutdown / reboot / logoff occurred) The countdown window flashes once a timer has been completed. If a sound has been configured the sound will also be played. Any action that has been setup will also run. Actions can open a file, run a program or perform any other valid action verb. The system can also be programmatically extended using Windows messages to look for timer information from your own software. | ||

| TreeComp is an interactive utility to keep 2 directory trees and the files within the directories in sync. The combined tree is displayed using a treeview control with icons indicating the status per directory. Programs to view the differences (i.e. Microsoft's WinDiff or WinMerge) between files with the same name can be launched by double-clicking, as well as editors for a file residing in one of the 2 trees. After inspection files can be copied/deleted interactively as desired. | ||

| Last Changed Files is freeware that will find the 100 files you changed most recently, on your hard drive or within one or more subdirectories that you specify. When you start Last Changed Files, it automatically scans your hard drive and shows you the last 100 files changed, sorted chronologically in the order that they were changed. For each file, you will see the file name, full folder path, file size and date of last change. You can also scan another drive, directory, or subdirectory. Last Changed Files can scan a 200 GB hard drive in less than 30 seconds. You can also define an 'exclude list' of folders that you don't want to scan. | ||

| DirectoryWatcher 1.2 (last freeware version) is a useful program if you wish to know what changes are made to a program in your directories. You can select which folders to watch. Run the program once. And then run every time you want to see what files have been added, deleted or modified in your directories. (for example: You can know which 'dll' files are added to your system setup program). To install just put the exe file in a folder and make a shortcut in your start menu. Add the folders you want to watch either writing them in the box or by browsing them. In any way press after the selection the 'Add folder' button in order to add the folder to the directories for watching. Remove the folders that you don't want by clicking on the name and pressing the 'remove folder' button. Press the 'Close and save Changes' if you want to save this folders as default. If you wish to save the listing of the files that found to have been changed click on the button 'save listing'. (This button is visible only if there is at least one file listed in the window of the changed files) | ||
